Аннотация	This study aimed at examining rust fungi of the genus Triphragmium reported in Russia and revising their taxonomic designations and nomenclature in accordance with the currently accepted classification and newly obtained molecular and morphological data. The application of updated taxon circumscription and nomenclature is the basis for the analysis and interpretation of the origin, development, geography and diversity of rust fungi. In total, 25 specimens were examined, including types of T. anomalum and T. filipendulae. In addition, a lectotype was designated for T. anomalum. To elucidate correlations between morphology and molecular data and to determine the phylogenetic position of studied specimens, a phylogenetic analysis based on nrITS sequences was performed. As a result of the study, 3 species of Triphragmium ( T. anomalum, T. filipendulae and T. ulmariae) distributed in Russia are recognized. The taxonomic status of T. anomalum as a variety of T. ulmariae was revised based on molecular data and it is now more correctly considered a separate species.
