АннотацияThe article discusses the basic principles of decoration of children’s literature of the Indigenous Peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East that are used by the artists-illustrators. The author carries out an analysis of several illustrations of some fairy tales of the peoples of the North, an analysis of decoration of fairy tale collections in order to determine which image of a certain ethnic group they form. The article briefly describes the work of such masters of children’s illustration as E.K. Evenbakh, N.G. Basmanova, G.D. Pavlishin and E.M. Rachev.
