АннотацияThis review describes the unique type of academic activities for students – Model United Nations. In the modern society it became the world-wide movement that unites thousands of students from different countries. The most important purpose of it is to discuss the key problems of the international community. It combines the characteristics of the role-play, science conference and educational programme. The popularity of such events and the number of Models UN are growing every year. Several Models have been organized in Russia. The basic event for the UN students’ movement in Moscow is the Moscow International Model United Nations held annually in MGIMO. In 2015 Kutafin’s Law University joined the Model UN movement by organizing the first Kutafin’s University Model UN (KUMUN) on March 16-18. Three committees were operating at the same time: the Security Council, the Human Rights Council and the 6th Committee of the General Assembly. The delegates showed the highest level of diplomacy skills. They learned how to negotiate and suggested many ways of solving the international problems stated in the final resolutions of the committees.
